Minister's speech

Speech by His Excellency the Chairman of the Energy Authority, Engineer  Ayman Ismail

I am pleased to welcome you to the official website of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority, your direct window to learn about our efforts to develop the national energy sector, enhance transparency, and communicate with all citizens and local and international partners.

The energy sector in Palestine faces significant challenges amid complex political and economic conditions. However, we believe that national will, coupled with distinguished Palestinian competencies, can transform these challenges into real opportunities for development and increased reliance on our local resources, particularly renewable energy.

At the Energy Authority, we are committed to working according to a clear national vision aimed at building a secure, sustainable, and efficient energy system that meets citizens' needs and aspirations. We continuously work to strengthen energy infrastructure, develop legislation, encourage investment, and expand public-private partnerships.

We also place great importance on innovation and technology in resource management. We are committed to raising energy efficiency, improving the quality of service, and ensuring its equitable and safe delivery to all Palestinian areas, including the Gaza Strip and marginalized areas.

Through this website, I invite you to follow our news and initiatives and engage with us in everything that supports our shared vision of building a better energy future for Palestine.

Together, we light the way toward sustainable development, energy sovereignty, and national dignity.
